Mr. Mehul Shah has recently been appointed as the President of CTIS, Inc., beginning his tenure on July 20, 2012. Mr. Shah previously served as CTIS’ Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer and managed all aspects of the innovation process to identify strategies, business opportunities and new technologies. Prior to that, he served as CTIS’ Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) and was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations.
He has over 18 years of experience working with multiple Fortune 50 companies in the IT field, focusing on healthcare, manufacturing and finance industries. He has received his Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University in India and has achieved his Six Sigma black belt certification along with CMMI Level 5 and PCMM Level 5 ratings.
Mr. Shah has a proven record of innovative and strategic leadership and outstanding entrepreneurial and organizational skills. He has devoted his career to improving health through information technology on a global scale and he brings the same energy, vision and expertise to CTIS through his leadership. Mr. Terry Lierman has recently been designated as the new Chair of CSGI Inc., the parent company of CTIS Inc, Board of Director of CTIS as well as a Senior Advisor to the CTIS CEO, Mr. Raj Shah. CTIS provides information technology solutions to health systems and institutions, healthcare professionals, research organizations, and payors to support their goals in serving patients.
Terry Lierman has left his position as Chief of Staff for Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) and has entered the private sector as new Chair of CSGI Inc., Board of Director of CTIS and a Senior Advisor to the CEO at CTIS. He will oversee the company in the development of information technology solutions in the healthcare field. CTIS, CEO, Mr. Raj Shah says “CTIS is privileged to have Terry Lierman take over the responsibilities as CSGI’s chairman. Together we look forward to increased growth, innovation and providing the highest quality of care to serve our patients better.”
Lierman began his career in the health field at the National Institutes of Health, where he assisted in budget and policy development, administration, grants and contracts. He then moved to the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations where he was the Staff Director of the Labor Health and Human Services (HHS) Appropriations Subcommittee as well as the full Committee.
Mr. Lierman’s expertise is in all aspects of health development including biotechnology, diagnostics and services. He has previously been a board member on many health organizations including the National Health Museum, founder of the National Coalition for Cancer Research, and the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, among many other community service organizations. He is particularly interested in helping underserved and indigent populations and dealing with chronic care and treatment.
